AIM Academy Awarded Alabama First Class Pre-K Expansion Classrooms for 2025-2026 School Year

MONTGOMERY, Ala., July 14, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- AIM Academy, a leading provider of high-quality early childhood education in Alabama, is proud to announce they have been awarded four new First Class Pre-K expansion classrooms for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year by the Alabama Department of Early Childhood Education (ADECE). This significant expansion will allow AIM Academy to provide its highly regarded early learning programs to even more four-year-olds. The new classrooms were awarded to their campuses in Chelsea, Helena, Trussville and Meridianville.
The Alabama First Class Pre-K program is widely recognized as a national leader in early childhood education. For an remarkable 19 consecutive years, the program has been named the highest quality state-funded pre-kindergarten program in the nation by the National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER). This consistent recognition is a testament to the program's adherence to 10 of 10 research-based quality benchmarks, making it a gold standard for preparing young children for success in kindergarten and beyond. Research consistently shows that children who participate in Alabama's First Class Pre-K are more likely to demonstrate proficiency in reading and math, are less likely to require remedial education or special education services, and are more likely to graduate from high school and pursue higher education.
