MISSISSAUGA, ON, Oct. 13, 2026 /CNW/ -- Subaru Canada, Inc. (SCI) today announced pricing for the 2027 Crosstrek. The new model year expands the Crosstrek hybrid lineup with the addition of the Hybrid Onyx, creating a new entry point to Subaru's hybrid system while preserving the all-road, all-weather capability that has long defined the Crosstrek.
For 2027, the Crosstrek is offered in six trim levels: Convenience, Touring, Onyx, Hybrid Onyx, Limited and Hybrid Limited. Gasoline-powered models feature the 180-horsepower 2.5-litre SUBARU BOXER engine, while Hybrid Onyx and Hybrid Limited models produce 194 total system horsepower from Subaru's series-parallel hybrid system. Subaru Symmetrical Full-Time All-Wheel Drive remains standard across the lineup.
Convenience
Starting at $30,695, the Crosstrek Convenience establishes a strong foundation with the 180-horsepower 2.5-litre SUBARU BOXER engine, Lineartronic CVT, Subaru Symmetrical Full-Time All-Wheel Drive, X-MODE with Hill Descent Control, EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, heated front seats and LED steering-responsive headlights.
Touring
Priced at $33,895, the Touring adds an 11.6-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, premium cloth seating surfaces and additional driver-assistance technology, including Subaru Rear/Side Vehicle Detection and DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System.
Onyx
At $35,395, the Onyx adds a more adventurous edge with black-finish 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, distinctive yellow accents, a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat, Reverse Automatic Braking and dual-function X-MODE.
Hybrid Onyx
New for 2027, the Hybrid Onyx is priced at $36,995 — $1,600 above the gasoline-powered Onyx — and brings Subaru's next-generation hybrid system to a more accessible trim level. The series-parallel system combines a 2.5-litre SUBARU BOXER engine with an electric motor generator, electric traction motor, Hybrid Lineartronic CVT and 1.1-kWh lithium-ion battery. The Hybrid Onyx also features a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster with navigation functionality.
Producing 194 total system horsepower, the Hybrid Onyx delivers added power and improved fuel efficiency for the real world without trading away the capability that makes a Crosstrek a Crosstrek. Standard Subaru Symmetrical Full-Time All-Wheel Drive ensures power is delivered to all four wheels mechanically, maintaining the sure-footed response expected on pavement, gravel and everything in between. Equipped with a 63-litre fuel tank, the hybrid system gives 2027 Crosstrek hybrid models up to 1,000 kilometres of driving range on a single tank.
Limited
Priced at $38,495, the Limited builds on the gasoline-powered lineup with leather seating surfaces, integrated navigation and additional premium interior appointments. For 2027, the surround-view 360-degree camera is no longer included.
Hybrid Limited
At $40,495, the Hybrid Limited pairs the Limited's premium equipment with the 194-horsepower hybrid system. The 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster with navigation functionality remains exclusive to the hybrid models; the surround-view 360-degree camera is deleted for 2027.
Other 2027 model-year changes include an improved wireless smartphone charger, HYBRID badging in place of the previous e-BOXER badging on the front doors and liftgate, and deletion of the SUBARU badge from the tailgate. Sand Dune Pearl is available on select trims for an additional MSRP of $300.
